How to play Align

Rows of 5 arrows appear near a centre mark. Each row is blue or red. A blue row selects the middle arrow. A red row selects the outer arrows. The other arrows point in the wrong direction.

What it shows to firms

This game measures your attention when other information interferes. It records your accuracy on the correct arrow, and your cost when the rule changes.

How to approach it
  • The colour gives the rule. Blue selects the middle arrow, and red selects the outer arrows. Look at the colour of each row.
  • Keep your eyes on the centre mark. The flash markers are always correct, so move your attention to the position that they show.
  • Regular response times give a better score than a mixture of fast and slow responses. Keep a constant speed.
