Interval Estimation Test

A timed estimation test: bound probabilities, counts and quantities with a lower and an upper limit. Tight intervals that contain the true value score the most; intervals that miss score nothing.

You will face 4 estimation questions, each with its own 60-second clock. Some ask you to bound a probability between 0 and 1, some show a picture and ask you to bound a count, and some ask for a quick numeric estimate. For every question you give a lower and an upper bound.

60s per question 4 questions

Each question is worth up to 1 point. An interval that contains the true value earns more the tighter it is; an interval that misses earns 0, and there is no negative marking. Wide bounds waste points, narrow ones risk missing. Your score is out of 4.
