BP Supply Trading & Shipping

BP Shipping, active since 1915, is the oldest continuously operating part of bp, which gives the group's trading arm something most commodity houses lack: a marine logistics backbone older than the firms it competes with.

Supply, Trading and Shipping is bp's integrated energy marketing and trading division, among the largest such operations in the world. It trades crude, refined products, natural gas, power, natural gas liquids, LNG and carbon offsets, with North American activity hubbed in Houston and Chicago. A fleet of chartered and owned vessels moves hydrocarbons globally, and the division increasingly folds lower-carbon products and carbon markets into bp's role in the energy transition.
