Trexquant

Trexquant is a WorldQuant story with a different ending. Tyger Park spent years there as a senior managing director, then left to build his own statistical arbitrage shop in Stamford, Connecticut, with trading underway by 2014. The method carries the lineage: thousands of alpha signals bundled into hundreds of strategies that reweight themselves as recent performance shifts.

Capital spreads thin and wide, across thousands of cash equity positions in the US, Europe, Japan, Australia and Canada, kept market-neutral and rebalanced at medium frequency. The firm frames itself as traditional quant finance sharpened with machine learning, and much of that research muscle now sits in a fast-growing Gurugram office alongside the Connecticut base.
