Both are figures the firm states itself rather than audited results, and they sit well beyond typical benchmarks.

Founded in Taipei in 2019, SQM runs a single framework that ties signals, strategy, and execution together for HFT across equities and futures. It extended onto TAIFEX in 2020, layered on new HFT strategies in 2021, reached into Japan in 2023, and stood up a dedicated Taiwan branch in 2024. The research bench works in Python and C++ on market microstructure and order flow.
