When the NSE opened its co-location facility in the early 2000s, Open Futures Group was first through the door, an edge in Indian high-frequency trading it has held for more than two decades. The firm holds memberships across the NSE, BSE, and MCX and runs index arbitrage, volatility dispersion, statistical arbitrage, and basket strategies.

Established around 2001 in New Delhi under chairman S.P. Rawal, it ranks among the longest continuously operating HFT shops in the Indian market. Its reach grew alongside the electronic build-out of India's exchanges, a market it has traded since the era of open outcry gave way to screens.
