One Eleven Capital

One Eleven Capital's founder, Maxime Kahn, was the trader who unwound Jerome Kerviel's roughly 70 billion euro position at Societe Generale in 2008, work that makes him one of the more operationally tested figures to start a European quant fund. He had been global head of proprietary trading at SocGen before leaving with other traders from the desk.

Founded in Paris in 2017 and registered with the AMF, the firm launched with backing from BlueCrest Capital Management. It runs two systematic books: a higher-frequency strategy now closed to new money, and a mid-to-low frequency program built for institutions.
