Nitor enforces a single rule that defines it: every employee is both a trader and a coder. There are no pure quants and no pure traders, and the firm treats that fully integrated bench as its main structural edge in European energy.

Founded in 2017 and based in Aarhus, Denmark, it trades European natural gas, power and climate certificates such as EUAs and UKAs on its own account around the clock, across more than a dozen markets and both exchange and OTC venues. It is an unusual home base for a round-the-clock European energy book, well outside the London and Geneva trading axis.
