Nebula carries the Point72 quant lineage and the secrecy that tends to come with it. Founder Michael Graves built the global equity market-neutral fund in 2019 after running money as a portfolio manager at Cubist, Point72's systematic arm, and the firm has kept almost no public presence beyond its regulatory filings.

That opacity is the point rather than an oversight: the strategy is straightforward market-neutral equity, but the deliberate quiet mirrors how its Point72-lineage peers operate. The firm is based on Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan.
