Mingshi / Minghong (明汯投资)

Two Shanghai quant houses get romanized almost identically, and this Beijing book belongs to the first one: Minghong, the firm that was first past the 100-billion-yuan mark, not the unrelated Mingshi. The distinction matters because the two are easy to confuse on a worklist and run entirely separate businesses.

Opened in January 2022, the Beijing office extends Minghong's systematic, deep-learning statistical-arbitrage and directional models across stocks, futures and options. It runs on the group's own GPU compute, part of a footprint that reaches from the Shanghai headquarters out to Hong Kong and New York.
