The whole operation sits inside GIFT City, the Gujarat special economic zone built as India's offshore-equivalent international financial center, modelled on the free zones of Singapore and Dubai. That ring-fenced regulatory perimeter, which opens international capital markets to participants inside it, is the firm's reason for being there: it is one of only a handful of algorithmic market makers to plant a trading operation in the experimental zone.

Gift Street describes itself as the capital markets arm of IBISP IFSC, pairing low-latency execution with a broker-agnostic post-trade stack: an intelligence platform, an economic calendar, and a dashboard builder aimed at institutional workflows. The founding team comes from quantitative trading, and the firm keeps a foothold in the United Kingdom alongside its Gandhinagar base.
