Geneva Trading runs on two home bases, not one: a Chicago legal headquarters and a full Dublin operation in Ireland's IFSC, an unusual split for a principal trading firm of its size. Founded in 1999, it has spent more than two decades in listed derivatives and uses the Irish entity to anchor EU market access, with a London office added in 2023 for wider EMEA reach.

The desk mix is deliberately broad. Alongside listed futures, FX, equities, and options, Geneva runs an OTC oil desk trading freight forward agreements, a niche corner of physical energy markets. The tech stack leans on C++, kdb+, and latency tooling, and the firm joined the Pyth oracle network in 2022, a signal of its appetite for on-chain market data.
