Eagle Seven runs its trading on hardware most firms its size never touch: FPGA boards programmed in Verilog and SystemVerilog, latency measured with Corvil, all aimed at putting quotes into the market faster than software alone allows. The Chicago firm, founded in 2004 and organized as a partnership, provides liquidity across equities, futures and options at exchanges worldwide.

Its reach is genuinely round-the-clock. Eagle Seven Europe B.V. in the Netherlands and a Middle East office let it staff overnight Asian and European sessions, so the book is worked across time zones rather than parked at the Chicago close. It runs smaller than the tier-one Chicago names but carries the real low-latency engineering to match them.
