Domeyard LP
Domeyard stood out for who built it. Christina Qi co-founded the Boston HFT fund in 2012 while still a 21-year-old MIT senior, alongside classmates from MIT and Harvard, making her one of the youngest founders of an institutionally backed high-frequency fund. The story drew enough attention that Harvard Business School turned the firm into a teaching case while it was still trading.
The approach was fully automated, timing trades to nanosecond precision with mathematical models across equities, futures, and commodities, and at its peak it moved billions in daily volume. It was an NFA member and registered swap firm, run out of 33 Arch Street in downtown Boston. The distinguishing thread was less the strategy than the founders: very young, MIT-trained, and willing to build a latency-sensitive book from scratch.
