Dexterity Capital

Two co-founders, Michael Safai and Abraham Chaibi, started Dexterity Capital in 2017 with thirty thousand dollars and a structural quirk to exploit: gas-fee arbitrage on the earliest Ethereum decentralized exchanges. That small, opportunistic beginning grew into a full high-frequency operation, a rags-to-scale arc uncommon even by crypto standards.

The firm trades market-neutral strategies across global crypto venues around the clock, on a platform built primarily in Java rather than the C++ most latency shops default to. From a London headquarters and US offices in San Francisco and Seattle, it recruits engineers, algorithmic traders, and quantitative researchers to keep the system running. The story is less about a grand thesis than about compounding a tiny edge relentlessly until it became a real book.
