CTS Global Equity Group

CTS traces its roots to 1975, when it registered as B.L. Tan Securities, making it one of the oldest surviving securities firms in the Philippines. It is also one of the few Asian prop-trading businesses listed on a domestic exchange, which gives public markets a rare window into the model.

Renamed Citisecurities in 1986 and rebranded to its current name in 2020, the Manila firm runs three lines: proprietary trading as its primary focus, brokerage for high-net-worth clients, and investment income. Its prop desk is active across the US, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, and it holds trading rights on the Philippine Stock Exchange. The firm describes itself as one of the longest-standing brokerages in the country.
