Cor Capital
Cor Capital is a one-fund firm by design. Rather than spawn products, it built the whole business around a single vehicle running an Australian adaptation of Harry Browne's Permanent Portfolio, the four-way split across equities, bonds, gold, and cash, and has run that one approach unchanged since 2012.
Where it departs from the textbook is mechanism. Instead of static equal weights, it uses threshold-based rebalancing to harvest volatility, then layers in selective asymmetry through derivative overlays while watching friction costs. Melbourne-based and majority owned by its own staff, the firm grew out of post-GFC demand for something liquid and robust to sit beside conventional balanced funds across every economic regime. The pitch is stable absolute return with low correlation, not a menu.
