Apolis takes its name from the ancient Greek for citizen of no city, a deliberate signal that loyalty to any geography, sector or instrument is the enemy of returns. For a Monaco multi-family office, it is an unusually philosophical piece of branding.

Founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Evgeny Denisenko, the firm runs a global fixed-income and private-credit mandate spanning plain vanilla and non-conventional instruments alongside direct private-credit deals. Its principles put capital preservation ahead of yield, avoid negatively skewed payoffs and illiquid public securities, and optimise return per unit of volatility across the cycle.
