Most independent Brazilian fund managers come out of the buy side or academia. Ace Capital Saires came off a sell-side trading floor: its founding team formed on the proprietary desk of one of Brazil's largest banks before going independent in 2017.

The Sao Paulo manager runs multi-strategy FIM vehicles, with quantitative models built by Juliano Faria and Guilherme Queiroz that blend fundamental analysis, asset pricing and technical conditions under a strict risk framework. Partners co-invest their own capital alongside clients, aligning the firm's incentives with the books it trades.
