ABC Arbitrage

Trading its own capital while answering to public shareholders is almost unheard of in quantitative prop trading, yet ABC Arbitrage has done exactly that since listing on Euronext Paris. Founded in 1995 by actuary and mathematician Dominique Ceolin, it runs statistical-arbitrage and liquidity-provision strategies, with quants drawn from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy who have run stat-arb books since 1999.

The group is structured across three entities: the listed Paris parent, Quartys in Dublin, and an asset-management arm in Singapore licensed by the MAS. The flat, team-based organisation pairs the transparency of a public company with the secrecy-prone craft of systematic trading, a combination few peers attempt.
